I’m really happy with how her hair turned out.
I actually bought it to use for drawing and painting combined. It’s wonderful to draw on but when I started painting I noticed that it absorbed the paint a lot more than my rougher paper. That wasn’t what I wanted at all.. I’ve never bothered to buy hot pressed paper before now, so it might just be that way that it is ? I don’t know! I don’t like the way it behaves with paint.. But this was what my watercolor experiment turned into to. So all is not lost I suppose.

Just noticed I’ve forgotten to sign this one. Will have to fix that. Watercolor, purple and payne’s gray, ink on 300g paper.
Watercolor and graphite on 300g paper, painted this right before my temporary move. I guess I forgot to post it.

This painted today. It’s been an awful day with aches and all those other fun things that come with this chronic illness. Luckily Cecil at Nightvale Radio made the day a bit better, and I got this done, not bad at all.
